Remember back when French horror was a big deal in the genre? Films like High Tension, Inside, Martyrs, and Frontier(s) were the epitome of “extreme horror” and shocked audiences the world over. But with any glut and explosion of genre fare from one part of the world, some titles may slip past your radar.

A great zombie movie taking place within a tenement block.
A very weird movie, very creepy. No zombies or any supernatural things but an amazing eerie and unholy ambiance with strange characters… Typical French stuff.
Another zombie theme. A brilliant movie with all ingredients that make a good horror stuff!
A very old black and white movie but certainly one of the best in this kind. Very poetic and creepy.
