Halo-8’s Godkiller 2: Tomorrow’s Ashes Starts Production

Fans of the illustrated film Godkiller should be happy to hear that Godkiller 2: Tomorrow’s Ashes is on its way. As we learned from @GodkillerSeries on Twitter, production on the sequel “has officially begun”!

Godkiller is a transmedia series of graphic novels, illustrated films, and novels created by award-winning filmmaker Matt Pizzolo of Halo-8 that tells the stories of human beings caught in the crossfire of warring fallen gods. The core series is a trilogy of feature-length illustrated films beginning with Godkiller: Walk Among Us, illustrated by Anna Muckcracker, who is also working with Pizzolo on Part 2.

The new eight-issue comic book series is slated to begin release in mid-2011, followed soon after by the next wave of episodic illustrated films (comprised of four episodes). The complete Tomorrow’s Ashes feature-length illustrated film is expected to premiere theatrically in 2011.
