According to The Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision Blog filmmaker Mark Carter is looking to adapt the satirical 1996 David Prill novel, Serial Killer Days into a film for the studio that’s brought us lots and lots of horror over the years.
The story is set in a town that celebrates the annual arrival of a serial killer with a parade and a pageant. “I hope to deliver the expected genre conventions but do it in an idiosyncratic, richly layered and unexpected world,” says Carter. “There will also be lots of blood.”
