Variety just added a story letting us know that Phoenix Pictures will team up with The Memory of a Killer director Erik van Looy to birth a female centric horror flick called Mile Zero.
The picture will take place in a northern section of Alaska “where a grisly massacre occurred 20-some years ago. A woman arrives at the station when it reopens in present day, determined to dispel the suspicion that her mother committed the original murders. But when crew members mysteriously start disappearing, a supernatural element is revealed.“
The company wants to start shooting at the end of 2007 however, no one has been cast yet. More to come as we get it.
