A sad day for television fans across the globe as it’s with a heavy heart that we report a staple of a lot of our childhoods, Mr. Tom Bosley, is no longer with us.

According to E! Online Bosley died today after what his family termed a “brief battle” with lung cancer. He was 83.

While most people will no doubt remember Tom for his role of Mr. C on the hit series “Happy Days”, horror fans will remember him for his roles on such great horror-themed shows as “Night Gallery”, “Tales of the Unexpected”, and “Kolchak: The Night Stalker”.

At this time we here at Dread Central would like to take a moment to offer our sincerest condolences to Tom’s friends, family, and constituents.

Rest in peace, sir. And thanks for the memories.
