You may remember a game from way back when (actually 1989) called It Came from the Desert. Inspired by the classic 1959 movie Them!, it has you traversing the Nevada desert battling (you’ve guessed it) giant ants.
Director Marko Mäkilaakso is working on a film adaptation, which recently wrapped shooting in Spain. it doesn’t yet have a release date, but you can enjoy both a teaser and a proof of concept trailer below. They’ve also set up a Facebook account.
The film stars Mark Arnold, Vanessa Grasse and Harry Lister Smith. And before you go, remember to beware the ants.
