Back in 1990, when Frank Miller was still a respected figure in the industry, he teamed up with Geoff Darrow to create a three issue comic limited series called Hard Boiled, about an insurance investigator who learns that he’s actually a cyborg who needs to fight to free his people from slavery.
Deadline are reporting that Warner Brothers are negotiating to obtain the film rights to the series, which will be produced by Solipsist Films and Hollywood Gang should to deal go through. They’re also planning to get Ben Wheatley to direct, and his High-Rise lead Tom Hiddleston may star. We’ll bring you more as this story develops.
