We never got Guillermo del Toro’s live-action version, but we are getting an animated version of Justice League Dark, which has now been slapped with a big fat R rating for “some disturbing violence.”
Thanks to IGN, we’ve now got the first trailer for the supernatural superhero epic. All the old favorites are here, including John Constantine, Zatanna, Swamp Thing, and Deadman, as they attempt to save the world from a supernatural menace. The regular Justice League will also be appearing in a a supporting capacity.
Directed by DC animation regular Jay Oliva and featuring the voices of Matt Ryan, Jason O’Mara, and Camilla Luddington, Justice League Dark will be released next year.
