The folks at Hand Me Down Films, an award-winning Northern Virginia-based production company, strives for one goal: telling great stories. When they got in touch to let us know about their latest project, a feature version of the short titled Harmony, it definitely sounded up our alley.

Hand Me Down is hoping for a January 2017 production start date for science fiction/horror thriller Harmony. The film marks the second independent feature venture for the company; it will be shot in and around Washington, DC, with the goal being to have a cut ready by July 2017 to submit to the Toronto International Film Festival and others.

Written by Micah McFarland and directed by Zack Gross, Harmony is a near-future paranoid thriller that follows a group of wounded soldiers who discover they are the test subjects for a mysterious government facility, code named “Harmony.”

An Indiegogo campaign is now under way to provide the company the necessary closing funds for the project. See the teaser below.
