Fantastic Fest 2010 is in full swing down in Austin, Texas, and we’ve got another batch of photos to share as well as new reviews from our man on the scene, Scott Johnson, for four films that couldn’t be more different from each other. Luckily for him, three of them sound like winners.

First up are some pics of Roger Corman receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award on Saturday, September 25th.

Those are followed by Fantastic Fest founder Tim League and actress Michelle Rodriguez taking part in the “Fantastic Debates” behind the podium and in the boxing ring on Sunday, September 26th. League and Rodriguez debated whether or not Avatar should have won the Oscar for best picture. (Photos by Jack Plunkett/Fantastic Fest)

Lastly we have director Marvin Kren during the Q&A session after the screening of his German zombie movie Rammbock, one of the films screened by Scott.

As for the films Scott viewed, we have a five-knife review for Machete Maidens Unleashed! (review here), four out of five for both the aforementioned Rammbock (review here) and Mexican cannibal flick We Are What We Are (review here), and, sadly, just a 1-1/2 for A Horrible Way to Die (review here), which Scott dubbed “a horrible way to spend time in a theater.” Ouch!

Keep it here for more from Austin, and for additional info visit the official 2010 Fantastic Fest website.
