Monsters in the Woods Gets a Director’s Cut

Many years ago I had the opportunity to review writer/director Jason Horton’s horror anthology film Edges of Darkness (review). It was a tight little number that looked at a few interesting scenarios that were occurring during a zombie apocalypse. Cut to 2012 and Horton’s creature feature Monsters in the Woods hits with a limited release and totally misses my attention.

Thankfully now we’re getting a director’s cut of the film. Monsters in the Woods has been entirely re-edited. Horton has made extensive changes that include: alternate takes, new footage, and an overhaul to the film’s structure. Check out Gas Money Picture’s website for more updates as they roll in.
