There’s been a lot of confusion over whether or not Re-Animator: Evolution is canon in the Re-Animator franchise. Just to be clear… IT IS NOT!
The film, as we reported here, is a different beast altogether and has nothing to do with the world fostered by Stuart Gordon and Brian Yuzna. Rest assured that if and when there’s new Re-Animator news coming our way that sees our much beloved blood-spattered heroes tangoing with the newly brought back, you will hear about it right here on Dread Central.
That being said, we’ll be following the progress of the in-name-only film Re-Animator: Evolution carefully and will also bring you the latest on it as it comes.
