Chris Vandale Tells Tales of Terror in Anthology But Needs a Hand

Another collection of horror tales is on its way from indie director Chris Vandale called Anthology, and we’ve got a couple of scenes and the skinny for all your horror heads out there.

Starring Shannon Jaques, Rob Borges, Darren Felbel, Michael Larocque, Eddie Sutton, and even Vandale himself, Anthology is currently in hiatus, and it needs you. The fans have a great opportunity to help get the word out for this unique horror film.

Under their Closet Monster label, this group from Canada has only one goal: give the fans what they want. These horror nuts believe that the fans are the fuel that will get this film off the ground (well, that … and some money). They desperately need all horror freaks to lend their support by spreading the red as well as the word. Talk about it. Tell a friend. Join in on the fun online at the official Closet Monster Facebook page.

The two scenes that you’ll find below were made with the intention of showing horror fans a little taste of what they can expect from the film. Sadly, to get some of the more complicated scenes in the movie, the Closet Monster gang is looking to horror fans, worldwide, to help push the film from pitch scenes to a full length feature film.

Synopsis
“Taking place a month after the end of the world, eight chosen human beings patiently wait for their upcoming fight with eight demonic badasses from Hell that are recreations of their childhood nightmares. However, plans are about to change as three unknown villains are about to engage the heroes into a fight that could end their war before it even begins.

With one hero, Bobby (Vandale), kidnapped by a family of cannibals, another hero, Evan, being stalked by a mysterious faceless villain, and the other six trapped in a farm house surrounded by zombies, the “chosen ones”‘ odds are definitely stacked against them.

Anthology is everything you like about horror but spins it in a new and refreshing way. With slasher villains, cannibals, zombies, a killer clown called Chuckles, villains that speak ancient languages, and a group of heroes that are all unique in their own way, Anthology constantly gives you something to smile about.

If you’re a fan of My Name is Bruce, Hatchet, Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer, or you’re a frequent viewer of the glory days of Troma and Full Moon, Anthology is definitely for you.”

Enough talk! Dig on the scenes below shot by cinematographer Andrew Forbes. Look for more soon!

The first scene features one of our heroes, Bobby, trying to save a young couple from two cannibals.

Further into Anthology we get a look at what has happened to Bobby after his encounter with The Jackal (Dareen Felbel) and The Brute (Michael Larocque). Now we get to meet their father, Howard (Eddie Sutton).
