We were pretty sure we’d have to wait until the trailer dropped to get our first glimpse of Kong: Skull Island‘s massive new Kong, but we’re happy to say we were quite wrong about that hunch. Because the official poster was just unveiled, and the big guy is front and center. He looks angry. Super angry.

The ’70s-set film is about a man (Hiddleston) who travels to the mythical island and home of the king of the apes. A team of explorers venture inside what they find to be a treacherous island.
Kong: Skull Island will hit theaters on March 10, 2017.
