We’re pleased to present the latest short film from writer/director Patrick Rea entitled “Get Off My Porch”, which was shot in Patrick’s stomping grounds of Kansas City and Lawrence, Kansas.

It’s a horror comedy about a man terrorized by two young girls insisting that he buy a box of their cookies. The cast includes comedian Brad Meehan (visit his official site here), Katherine McNamara, and Andrea Strickler; and assisting Rea were Hanuman Brown-Eagle, director of photography, and Ryan Jones, editor and sound engineer. Harry Manfredini composed the score, which really goes a long way toward pulling together the film’s comic and creepy elements. It was executive produced by Free State Studios.

“Porch” will be screening at the A Nightmare to Remember Film Festival in San Francisco on June 26th and at the Fright Night Film Festival, which runs July 30th-August 1st in Louisville, Kentucky.
