Believe it or not, Sharkasaurus isn’t a new Syfy movie. It’s actually a new graphic novel in which science-loving paleontologists and fiction-loving creationists team up to take down a giant prehistoric shark.

Sharkasaurus was made into a short film back in 2014 (see below) and is only now getting the comic treatment. Head over to Kickstarter to help give this shark some bite.

Synopsis:
Tremors meets Jaws!  Sharkasaurus vs. creationists and paleontologists = a bloody hilarious graphic novel.

We’re raising money to fund Sharkasaurus, written by Spencer Estabrooks and illustrated by Tyler Jenkins. Sharkasaurus a horror comedy that pits creationists and paleontologists against the prehistoric Sharkasaurus.

The story follows a pair of star-crossed lovers: the rebellious emo son of a paleontologist falls for the promiscuous daughter of a widowed creationist. After they accidentally awaken a prehistoric tunneling dino-shark, they must evolve their ideological difference or succumb to the inevitable jaws of Sharkasaurus.
