A bunch of new images from the upcoming UK horror film K-Shop have landed in our laps, and we put them all on a stick and are ready to serve ’em to you hot and fresh. Dig it!
Dan Pringle directed the film, which stars Ziad Abaza (Spectre, Exodus: Gods & Kings), Darren Morfitt (Dog Soldiers, How I Live Now), Reece Noi (TV’s “Game of Thrones,” My Kingdom), Lucinda Rhodes (Fall of the Essex Boys, TV’s “The Detectorists”), and Ewen McIntosh (The Lobster, TV’s “The Office”).
K-Shop transfers the Sweeney Todd story to the binge-drinking milieu of Britain as a vigilant kebab shop owner battles with drunken clubbers. A debut for writer/director Pringle, the film has secured distribution through Bulldog Film Distributors and is set for UK cinema release on July 22nd.
Synopsis:
Bloody vengeance comes to the streets of a British seaside town in this darkly comic horror, which sees a young student turn vigilante on the drunken thugs who caused the death of his kebab shop-owner father – a cutting social commentary about the sordid side of British nightlife.
