Filming recently began on Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant, and we’ve thus far seen a couple set photos that have teased some of the sci-fi horrors to come. On tap today is another behind the scenes shot, this one showing Scott giving star Danny McBride a mission briefing. Yes, McBride is totally in the Prometheus sequel. And we love that.

Along with the returning Noomi Rapace, the cast also includes Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Benjamin Rigby, Demian Bichir, Jussie Smollett, Amy Seimetz, Carmen Ejogo, and Callie Hernandez.
Specific plot details for the new film are being closely guarded; but it is believed to follow the crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet, who discover what they believe is an uncharted paradise but is, in fact, a dark, dangerous world, the only inhabitant of which is David (Fassbender), the “synthetic” and survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.
