New Inkubus Project Lands Robert Englund as Lead

Every once in a while we learn about a new project only after it’s already started filming, and that’s the case with Verdi Corrente Productions’ Inkubus, which is currently shooting in Rhode Island. But we certainly should be hearing lots more soon as they’ve just landed Robert Englund as their lead actor.

Also appearing in Inkubus, which was co-written by Carl Dupre and Glenn Ciano and is being directed by Ciano, are William Forsythe, Joey Fatone, Jonathan Silverman, Mike Cerrone, and Michelle Ray Smith.

Per Variety Inkubus tells the story of a skeleton crew working the final shift at a soon-to-be demolished police station. The night takes a gruesome turn when the demon Inkubus calmly walks into the station holding a severed head and begins to confess a litany of crimes, some dating back to the Middle Ages.

As more details come in, we’ll be sure to pass them along.
