Believe it or not, it’s now been a full seven years since the original Halo Wars. So a sequel is long overdue. Judging from the E3 trailer, it was sure worth the wait.
Although it’s a cinematic trailer with no actual gameplay being shown, it will certainly still be enough to make Halo fans go crazy. Best of all, Total War: Warhammer developer Creative Assembly is assisting 343 Industries in the game’s development.
Synopsis:
In Halo Wars 2, the Spirit of Fire and her crew, led by Captain Cutter, face a deadly new faction known as The Banished. Their chief, the Brute warlord Atriox, is both a deadly warrior and brilliant military leader in control of a massive army. The key to victory is knowing your enemy, but Atriox is a threat no one is prepared for.
