The MPAA. You just never know how they’re going to rate something. It really seems as if it just depends on their mood at the time of a particular viewing. The next movie to fall victim to the cinematic mood swings is Kevin Smith’s genre comedy Yoga Hosers.
“The MPAA gave my kids movie Yoga Hosers an R rating for a cartoony drawing of testicles on a book cover,” writes Smith on his Instagram page. “So now, for the 4th time in my 22 year career, we will hold an appeals screening with the Motion Picture Association of America’s ratings board and try to get the R overturned for a less severe (and far more appropriate) PG-13.”

Smith is looking to tour with the film beginning in June or July with a theatrical release in August 2016, but he can’t do so without MPAA approval. The Battle of the Balls begins!
