The European Film Market is popping as we speak, and news has just come down that the new film featuring Oldboy himself, Choi Min-sik, has landed distribution.

According to Screen Daily Korean sales company FineCut has announced it has picked up I Saw the Devil, the upcoming film from Kim Jee-woon, hit director of The Good, The Bad, The Weird.

The film, labeled as a hard-boiled thriller, stars Choi Min-sik (Oldboy) as a psychopathic serial killer up against Lee Byung-hun (G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra) as a special agent whose fiancée becomes one of his victims. Lee’s cool-headed and intelligent character in turn becomes a monster in order to avenge the killing.
