There’s something you don’t hear every day.
Directed by Adam Wingard (Home Sick) and written by E. L. Katz, Pop Skull tells of an Alabama pill addict named Daniel who is having a hard enough time dealing with day-to-day life, a situation that becomes decidedly worse when the spirits that inhabit his home start to become more and more malevolent.
I know it doesn’t really sound like much, but something tells me this one’s all about the execution. The trailer that’s now available at the official site for Pop Skull definitely makes it seem interesting, and I flat-out love that poster design…
“It was shot for a paltry 2 thousand bucks, and is a completely different style of horror then Home Sick,” Katz told us. “More of a character driven, atmospheric tale in the vein of Larry Fessenden’s Habit. Some of the actors from Home Sick make an appearance as well. It’s currently being submitted to fests.”
Hit the Pop Skull site to see the trailer, befriend them on MySpace, and keep your eyeballs here for more info on the film very soon!
