The Amityville Legacy Poster Comes Haunting

Amityville Project #87,998,409 has come our way. Honestly? We’ve lost track at how many films are actually in the franchise. Is there more than one franchise? We give up! Just give up!

Anyway, read on for a look at the artwork for The Amityville Legacy, which features a toy from the house cursing a new, completely unrelated family. Didn’t that happen once already with a lamp and a dollhouse? Maybe more than once? Maybe this one can defy the odds and be watchable.

In pre-production now, principal photography is slated to begin in Nebraska in February. Directed by Dustin Ferguson (Silent Night, Bloody Night 2: Revival) and produced by 42nd Street Films, the film follows a cursed antique toy monkey from the original DeFeo home as it wrecks havoc and possesses a father after being gifted during an annual family reunion.

The film is slated for a VOD and DVD/Blu-ray release in late 2016.
