As first-person shooters are famed for their multiplayer modes, it’s only fitting that Doom, the reboot of the grandaddy of all FPS games, should have an awesome multiplayer.
As you can see from the developer commentary video below, the multiplayer will contain a lot of unique features, including big-ass space guns, wall-jumping, and best of all, the ability to transform into a demon. Now that’s something that will make Call of Duty’s multiplayer crap itself.
Modes will include Domination, Clan-Arena, and Freeze-Tag. Skills from single-player can be transferred to multiplayer, giving gamers who only buy games to play them against other people an incentive to experience the story mode.
Doom will be released next year.
