Devastated Dreams Raising Funds on Kickstarter

From Infinitap Games, the team who bought you Neverending Nightmares, which Giant Bomb named a runner-up for the title of Best Horror Game of 2014, comes Devastated Dreams, a psychological horror game about a pregnant Filipino woman named Angel, who has recurring nightmares featuring the nightmarish creatures of Filipino mythology.

The game will be focused on atmosphere over action, to the point where it won’t include any kind of combat system, with Angel having to rely on Quick Time Events to evade enemies. Puzzles will also be included, which are intended to delve deeper into Angel’s subconscious, but thankfully the developers promise that they won’t be mind-bendingly difficult.

And the partially black and white, cel-shaded visuals are perfectly suited to the game’s dreamlike quality. For more information, head over to Devastated Dreams’s Kickstarter page for a free demo, and be sure to contribute.
