Sacred Agony Raising Funds on Kickstarter

Despite the abundance of horror video games, the depiction of Hell in gaming is still relatively uncommon. Aside from Dante’s Inferno and Saints Row: Gat out of Hell, most gamers would be hard-pressed to name a game featuring the underworld off the top of their heads.

Sacred Agony will join the surprisingly small list of Hell-based games, following a soul who wants to escape from there. Because, naturally, everything in Hell would want to escape. The player will be able to possess demons, granting them special abilities; and as you can see, the art style looks pretty cool.

The game is trying to raise €544,400 on Kickstarter, which is actually a hell of a lot (sorry) more that what most crowdfunded games aim for. And as Kickstarter is all or nothing, failing to reach their goal will result in, well, nothing. So they need your help, or else the game will be stuck in eternal damnation (sorry again).
