Ellis To Bring Us Humpty Dumpty

The new Final Destination isn’t even in theatres yet, and already there’s talk of David R. Ellis’ next feature, this time an in-name-only horrific new take on a really old nursery rhyme.

Variety reports that next Ellis will be tackling Humpty Dumpty, “a 3-D sci-fi horror pic about a half-human, half-alien creature who embarks on a murderous rampage after his alien mother is abused by two rednecks in the Deep South.”

Yes, this concept is far-fetched, but this is David Snakes on a motherfucking Plane Ellis we’re talking about! If anyone’s apt to pull this baby off, it’s him.

Production is set to begin in September with Ellis directing from a script penned by Billy Majestic. Keep it here for more as it comes.
