On Saturday, April 25th, Chicago’s Horror Society will be presenting an evening honoring female contributions to the horror genre. The Women of Horror Festival will take place from 5:00 pm-12:00 midnight at the Portage Theatre, 4050 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago, with a portion of the proceeds set to benefit women’s charities in the Chicagoland area.

The Horror Society has posted more information on their official site and their MySpace Page so get to clicking!

The group also has information posted on both sites about their other upcoming 2009 events including SUMMER SLAUGHTER in July and ZOMBIES, ZOMBIES, ZOMBIES in October.
