New Game Allison Road Aims to Replace Silent Hills

Unless Guillermo Del Toro can slap some sense into Konami, Silent Hills is gone for good. However, there’s now an indie alternative: Allison Road.

Developed by a team of six, Allison Road is a horror game that follows a man who wakes up in a house with a bad hangover, with no idea where his wife and daughter are. When he tries to nurse his hangover with a nap, the poor guy is woken up in the middle of the night by the neighbors who live upstairs. Loud neighbors, murder, intrigue, freaky girls with blood-stained faces — Allison Road gives you everything you’d want in a horror game.

Christian Kesler began work on the game two weeks after the release of PT. “I grew up with Silent Hill,” Kesler told GamesRadar. “I feel truly blessed that some folks out there are giving us a chance to grab a spot alongside something like that, and we’ll do our best to live up to it.”
