Variety reports tonight that the next film on the Ghost House slate will be a remake of a 1987 Spanish horror film, Bigas Luna’s Anguish. For those unfamiliar with the flick, it told the tale of two girls trapped in a movie theater with a killer whose murders mirror the killing taking place on the big screen. Filming from a screenplay by Jake Wade Wall (When a Stranger Calls), Ghost House has hired Room 205 director Martin Barnewitz to helm this latest redux.
Speaking of which … the remake of Room 205 (also being directed by Barnewitz) has found itself a new title — The Dorm. Keep it locked for more on both these flicks as it develops.
