This morning we got a heads up that some teaser art for the next two films from Jim Mickle (Mulberry Street) have shown up on the man’s official website, and though they don’t give anything in terms of updates, its nice to have some visuals to go with the projects.
Stake Land is a vampire film Mickle co-wrote with Mulberry writer/star Nick Damaci, which will be produced by Larry Fessenden’s Glass Eye Pix. Little else is know now, but we’re digging for more!

Then there’s the Joe R. Lansdale adaptation, Cold in July, which was also written by Mickle and Damaci. The story goes like this: When Richard Dane shoots and kills a burglar in his living room, he sets off a strange sequence of events, starting with a threat by the thief’s father to kill Richard’s son and leading to a dark, horrible truth. Dig the art below, and keep watching Dread for updates!
