Sex sells. From advertisements to books to movies and TV, sex is what spikes up our inner animal and keeps us craving more. Even at its most taboo, sex makes you curious and makes you peek around the corner just to get a glimpse into another world, another place your sexual appetite may desire but has never encountered… that dirty deed we don’t talk about and we keep to ourselves because we are in a way embarrassed as to what people may think of us.
Many horror movies have a sexy scene or two, but some have that one that you will never forget, that one that you still think of sometimes when you’re alone. Maybe it made you tingle all over, hold your breath, and cringe while feeling that desire to look away, but you couldn’t because the curiosity of the act got the best of you. Whatever the sex act and however crazy it gets (see: Nekromantik), it becomes taboo because in your world it is forbidden; yet, you somehow want it all the same.
So let’s take a look at some scenes from horror movies and TV shows that made us tingle with delight even though they may be just a taboo fantasy.
First up is this scene with Brad Pitt and Antonio Banderas in Interview with the Vampire (1994).
By the time it happened, you were already questioning your sexuality as a man and tingling all over as a woman, but this scene throws the sexual tension over the top and then, just as you think that kiss is going to happen, it doesn’t and it slaps you back to reality. You catch yourself breathing heavy one minute and looking around to make sure nobody saw your reaction the next. It’s a roller coaster ride of vampire sexiness.
Then there’s Dracula (1992) when Lucy meets Dracula’s “werewolf” side.
Not sure if it’s the wolf or just the dog in him, but either way this scene is memorable in a very strange way. We’ve got a little bestiality going on here as well as some voyeurism, too; yet, somehow it works you up and leaves an impression. You’ll never really tell your friends that this scene does it for you in some morbid way, but it does and it’s “dog gone” good.
Once again, another scene from Dracula (1992) is the foursome with the lady vampires and Keanu Reeves.
This is seriously a pretty hot scene, but it seems to me that Keanu really isn’t that into it, especially when good old Drac walks in and ruins the whole thing by bringing a baby into the mix. I mean, who would be into it with grandpa and his up-do walking into a room going on about how Keanu belongs to him? Still, it’s a sexy scene, and most guys I know would love to be in that mix.
Now let’s look at From Dusk to Dawn (1996) and Salma Hayek’s dance scene.
Who doesn’t love this scene? It gives you all the tingles. Women and men alike love to watch her sexy seductive dance, even if it is with a snake and even if she is a blood-sucking ancient vampire. Who cares! It’s Salma Hayek, and I’d let her suck my blood any day!
How about the “American Horror Story: Coven” (2013) sex ritual scene?
There are so many sex scenes in all the seasons of “American Horror Story” that it’s hard to pick just one, but there’s always been something sexy about witches, and one thing we know about witches is they love to have ritual sex. This scene in particular is sexy, even with the snake factor. Snakes represent the devil in scripture; therefore, this sex is just plain hot and taboo because of it. It somehow gets you in the mood to make a salt circle, light some candles, and do the naughty, doesn’t it?
Then there’s Excision (2012) and its white rabbit psycho-sexual fantasy.
The fantasies that this girl has make you want to peek around that corner and become a voyeur at all costs to see what she’ll come up with next! This scene hints at blood orgy time with death tones, and that’s what makes it a bit taboo. This chick is a true psycho, but a hot one at that. I wouldn’t recommend dating someone like her, but having some one-on-one time with her now and then I think would be okay.
