Some of The Best Siblings in Horror

Growing up the baby in the family, my older brother and I didn’t always get along. Whether it was jealousy or just the fact that I annoyed him, we still always had one thing in common, and that was horror movies. When I needed someone to sit with me or hide behind the furniture with when the boogieman was for sure going to jump out of the TV and get us, my brother always stuck by my side.

I’m sure many of you can relate. In horror movies of all kinds, siblings often take on a special role when they show up together. Some of the siblings on this list stand side by side as they face the terror before them, and sometimes they are on opposite sides of the good versus evil debate. They do say blood is thicker than water, and in the instances of these siblings, there just happens to be a whole lot of blood!

Edgar and Alan Frog (The Lost Boys)
Rocking their Rambo-inspired fashion, these two brothers are very serious vampire hunters who dedicate their lives to catching and killing vampires while fighting for truth, justice, and the American way.

Regina and Samantha (Night of The Comet)
These two are ‘like totally’ opposite but find a way to work together as the end of the world happens. I mean, what else would you do if the end of the world happened but go on a free shopping spree with your sister?!?

Ginger and Brigitte (Ginger Snaps)
These sisters stick together through thick and thin, always looking out for one another in their own special way. What sister wouldn’t protect her sibling from the horrors of high school?

Sean and Michael (Jaws 2)
Michael just wants to impress the girls with his sailing skills, but now he has to take his little brother, Sean, along for the ride. Michael soon learns how much his brother means to him with the help of that snarky Great White.

MORE Horror Siblings on the NEXT page!

Sam and Michael (The Lost Boys)
These are two brothers who obviously care about each other, even after one becomes a bloodthirsty vampire. Nothing will get in their way when it comes to getting rid of all the bad vampires. Vampires and humans coexisting in the same family?  Oh yes!

The Grady Twins (The Shining)
These two are creepy as fuck, but tragically sad at the same time. They seriously have made me paranoid of long hallways in hotels since I first laid eyes on them.

Miles and Flora (The Innocents)
Are these little shits possessed or just spoiled little brats? Either way, these two are horrible and give orphans a bad name, but at least they stick together.

Michael Myers and Laurie Strode (Halloween H20)
Now these two are as different as can be.  Can you imagine that your brother is a psychotic psycho killer who hates you with his last breath?  Well maybe you can, but Laurie should have looked on the bright side of things; if she ever needed to get rid of anyone she didn’t like… well, you get my drift.

However strong our bonds are with our siblings, they are still our siblings. Whether it be a bad bond or a good bond, we are stuck with them so we might as well make the best of it.
