No million-dollar budgets or factory productions. This is the space for the little guy with not but a developer toolkit and a dream. So if you’re down to roll the dice on something different, then stick around and check it out!
Welcome back for another Ultra-Indie Daily Dose! Today we’re looking at a game about looking, Stargazing 64, by developer Warkus. Previously featured in Daily Doses for Oceanwork and Thy Flesh, this game is about staring into the abyss, and you already know what abysses do to those that stare.
Stargazing 64 is a bite-sized game about, you guessed it, stargazing. It’s set in a serene little garden. You find a telescope, and once the sun sets you can start exploring the cosmos. So many (~5) beautiful stars for you to gaze at. One of them in particular is keen on gazing right back.
The game was “created in a few hours,” but is still a fantastic three-minute horror experience. You can download Stargazing 64 on itch.io by clicking here.
