We recently highlighted some of the must-see picks from this year’s Brookyln Horror Fest, and now, we’re excited to announce the line-up for this year’s Toronto After Dark Film Festival. The 17th annual festival will feature five nights of thrills and chills with everything ranging from horror to science fiction to action. Screenings will take place at Scotiabank Theatre, 259 Richmond St. West, Toronto. Check out a sizzle reel for the festival below!

SXSW breakout hit Late Night With the Devil, a movie we called “a glorious spectacle of demonic mayhem,” is one of this year’s highlights. The Michael Kennedy (Freaky) scripted Christmas slasher It’s a Wonderful Knife will be screening, as will the Lovecraftian (and incredible) Suitable Flesh starring Heather Graham, a movie our own Josh Korngut called “a sexy and outrageous Lovecraft tribute made with love.”

Daniel’s Gotta Die, featuring the late Bob Saget’s final performance, and Restore Point, a hotly-anticipated cyberpunk thriller, are also announced for Toronto After Dark. Additional features and 29 shorts from global submissions will also be available.

Interested parties can review the full schedule, purchase tickets, and learn more about Toronto After Dark at the link here.

Toronto After Dark is “A thrilling cinematic blast for movie fans and filmmakers, Toronto After Dark has been Voted Runner-Up for Best Film Festival in the City by audiences (BlogTO) and One of the Top Genre Film Festivals in the World by filmmakers (MovieMaker)” and this year’s festival looks to be no different. There’s a diversity of voices and genres on display with the lineup, almost guaranteeing there’s something there for everyone. In the absence of After Dark Horrorfest (I’ll miss you), Toronto After Dark is a premier destination for horror fans.

What do you think? Do you plan to attend? It does have the Canadian premiere of UFO Sweden which looks to be the cutest thing ever. Which of these features are you most looking forward to? Let me know over on Twitter @Chadiscollins!
