FX Icon Tom Savini Teams Up with Trick or Treat Studios for New Line of Zombie Face Masks

Last year, we reported that Terrifier’s Art the Clown (played by David H. Thornton) would be getting his own line of masks and accessories from Trick or Treat Studios. Anyone who loves Halloween and cosplay knows that, when it comes to masks, Trick or Treat is one of the best in the biz, will a huge line of officially-licensed products.

Today brings word that Trick or Treat has teamed up with legendary special effects guru Tom Savini (for the first time) on a new line of zombie face masks! The announcement included the following statement:
“Special effects artist, actor, director, stunt man, teacher, mentor – all these things could easily describe the career of Tom Savini but none of them do justice in describing his influence on the horror genre. Horror classics like Friday the 13th, Dawn of the Dead, Creepshow, and Day of the Dead are but the first rung on a career ladder than has spanned decades and continues to thrill genre audiences around the globe. Recent years have brought him acting acclaim with roles in films like From Dusk Till Dawn, Machete, Django Unchained, and Grindhouse.”
While the press release didn’t say for certain, we’re assuming the Zombie Face Mask collection will be available in time for Halloween this year. We’ll be keeping our fingers crossed and bringing you updates as details emerge, so stay tuned.
