It’s been a great year for genre fans who like to watch content at home. This might be part of the reason this Polish zombie movie is killing it this week. Soulcatcher has claimed the #1 horror movie on the Netflix film (Non-English) charts. Let’s get into this action-packed scary movie.

Soulcatcher was directed by Daniel Markowicz. It was written by Daniel Markowicz and Dawid Kowalewicz. It stars Piotr Witkowski, Jacek Koman, Jacek Poniedzialek, Aleksandra Adamska, and Vansh Luthra.

The movie hit Netflix on August 2. So, we are very impressed with it making its way to the #1 spot in less than seven days with all of the competition on the streamer. This is no small feat, especially considering the lack of advertising that Netflix gives its original movies.
We are also very much here for original movies getting attention this year. We have seen a lot of sequels, prequels, reboots, and remakes, so it is so refreshing to see something new on a mainstream streamer getting some of the love.
