Rhett McLaughlin and Link Neal, the hosts behind the wildly popular YouTube channel Good Mythical Morning, have announced that they will be releasing a, “…thrilling and darkly funny novel about two best friends fighting the sinister forces at the heart of their Southern town.” Titled The Lost Causes of Bleak Creek, the book will be coming out October 29, just in time for Halloween.
“We vividly remember the summer before our freshman year of high school — two best friends swimming in the Cape Fear River, obsessing over the girls we’d meet and the rad dudes we wanted to become. It was one of the most exciting and hopeful times of our lives. But what if it all went sideways? And weird. And life-threatening. One year ago, we hatched the idea that became this novel: to dig into our shared memories growing up in a small Southern town and create a thrilling story set in that place and time.“
