Zak Bagans Buys Infamous “Devil’s Rocking Chair” from THE CONJURING 3

Ghost Adventures host Zak Bagans bought the infamous “Demon House” in Gary, Indiana–with terrifying results. The saga was chronicled in the aptly titled Demon House, released in 2018. Without giving anything away, you’d think his experiences would deter Bagans from attempting to procure any additional haunted properties or cursed objects.

But you’d be wrong. Bagans now runs his own “Haunted Museum” in Las Vegas, and the place is crawling with potentially paranormal artifacts. His latest acquisition may be his most dangerous yet: “The Devil’s Rocking Chair” could hurt you–or worse.

Newsweek explains:

The chair was the site of the exorcism of David Glatzel, a young boy who was seemingly possessed by a demon. Lorraine and Ed performed an exorcism on the boy, but when the demon left him, it seemingly entered another person. Arne Cheyenne Johnson later stabbed and killed his landlord and in court, and claimed he was compelled to kill because he was possessed by a demon. Holy Water stains still rest on the chair, according to TMZ. It’s also said that those who sit in the chair fall victim to intense back pain, with one incident even requiring surgery.

Johnson’s courtroom saga is presumed to be the centerpiece of The Conjuring 3, slated to begin production in June with a 2020 target release date. At this point, it should be noted that it’s only conjecture, as an official plot synopsis for the film, directed by Michael Chaves, has yet to be released.

As for that damn rocking chair, that’s one place I won’t be resting my feet!
