Poughkeepsie Tapes Q&A!

The Poughkeepsie Tapes Q&A!A few months back, our man Nomad was on hand in New York City for the premiere of many interesting horror films that we’ve been waiting on release info since. One of those films was The Poughkeepsie Tapes, which MGM recently announced they’ll be giving the theatrical treatment to in early 2008 (“Poughkeepsie Date, More Changes” – July 2007)

Nomad was there for the film’s premiere (he promises to review it for us someday…) and sat in on the Q&A with director John Dowdle (download our audio interview with him here), writer Drew Dowdle and star Stacy Chbosky that followed. Now you can check out the highlights of said Q&A in our Broadband section to learn more about this disturbing new horror film.

For those scratching their heads, The Poughkeepsie Tapes are the fictious tapes found in the titular New York suburb that doccument one sick bastard’s torture, murder and dismemberment routines. Its one of the few films that was able to cut through the normally jaded Tribeca film goers and have an emotional impact.
