Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order – Curse Of The Vampire DLC Gets An Action Packed New Trailer

Although the Curse of the Vampire DLC for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order was released back in September, Nintendo recently released an action packed new trailer for this horror-themed DLC pack, which you can view in the player above.
The Curse of the Vampire DLC adds four of Marvel’s most violent heroes as playable characters, so if you already own Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, you’ll now be able to play as Blade, Morbius the Living Vampire, Moon Knight, and the Punisher. Most of you will probably already be familiar with Blade and the Punisher as the characters have both headlined various films and TV shows, while Morbius will finally receive his own film next year, with Jared Leto in the title role. Moon Knight, however, has not made many onscreen appearances, although he will be the star of an upcoming Disney+ series. So if you’re unfamiliar with the character, let’s just say that Moon Knight is basically a more psychotic version of Batman. All the new heroes are fully voiced and have their own unique abilities which you’ll be able to use in gameplay.
The DLC also adds a new Gauntlet mode gameplay option, which allows a total of four players to tackle a series of ongoing challenges. If you do well, you’ll be able to display your scores online. In keeping with the horror-theme of this new DLC, there is also an appropriately named Nightmare difficulty setting, in which enemies will be infected by a vampiric curse. Other new features include the addition of a S.H.I.E.L.D. Depot, an increased level cap, and seven new costumes.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order was developed by Team Ninja and published by Nintendo, and received mainly positive reviews when it was released back in July. So if you’re a Marvel fan or just a horror gamer in general, you should definitely give the Curser of the Vampire DLC a go.
