What You Should Know About Tonight’s Episode of AHS: APOCALYPSE “Return to Murder House”

Tonight’s episode of American Horror Story: Apocalypse will bring us to the half-way point in the latest chapter of the anthology series launched by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk in 2011—but this will be no ordinary episode. We’ll be going back to where it all began, literally, when characters revisit the titular Murder House from Season 1.
Here’s what you should know about tonight’s episode, “Return to Murder House”:
- Rumors that it would be 90 minutes long appear to be exaggerated, although “Return to Murder House” will run longer than the usual 60 minutes.
- Tonight’s episode will see the return of Jessica Lange as Constance Langdon; the actress was once a staple of the series but hasn’t appeared since the conclusion of American Horror Story: Freak Show (Season 4).
- “Return to Murder House” is helmed by Sarah Paulson, marking her directorial debut.
- The entire cast of American Horror Story will be live-Tweeting during tonight’s episode using the hashtag #AHSApocalypse.
