In October, Marcus Parks and Henry Zebrowski from Last Podcast On The Left released their latest comic series, Operation Sunshine. Now, they’re back with more vampire chaos with the four-issue series Operation Sunshine: Already Dead!

The group of young, alienated vampires heads down to the swamps of Florida to disrupt a nasty ancient vampire party and to put into motion “Operation Sunshine”—their plot to steal a magical object that can turn themselves back to human and put an end to the elder vampires once and for all.
Parks and Zebrowski wrote the series, which was illustrated by David Rubín (Black Hammer), colored by K.J. Diaz (The Ones), and lettered by Ferran Delgado. The first issue will also feature variant covers by Martin Simmonds and Tyler Jenkins, with a final variant cover to be revealed at a later date.

This isn’t Parks and Zebrowski’s first comic rodeo. Previously, the pair wrote the six-issue series Soul Plumber about a man, a portal, and some terrifying monsters.
Parks and Zebrowksi are co-hosts of the successful true crime podcast The Last Podcast On The Left where they cover serial killers, cryptids, aliens, and all matters of the strange and macabre. So it makes sense that they’d be well-versed in the worlds of bloodthirsty monsters, fictional or otherwise.
Operation Sunshine: Already Dead #1 (of 4) travels to comic shops on April 24, 2024. It is now available to pre-order at your local comic shop for $3.99.
