‘Kids Vs. Aliens’ Cast and Crew Talk Foul-Mouthed Kids And Evil Aliens [Watch]

Kids Vs. Aliens

Jason Eisener’s found footage short Slumber Party Alien Abduction, featured in V/H/S/2, is one of the most effective horror films about aliens. Fast forward ten years and Eisener has molded that short into the full-length creature feature Kids Vs. Aliens. It’s a sweet yet goopy homage to horror of the 1980s, wrestling, and to even Eisener’s own childhood.

In Kids Vs. Aliens,

All Gary wants is to make awesome home movies with his best buds. All his older sister Samantha wants is to hang with the cool kids. When their parents head out of town one Halloween weekend, an all-time rager of a teen house party turns to terror when aliens attack, forcing the siblings to band together to survive the night.

On the latest Dread Talks, we sit down with Eisener, actors Phoebe Rex, Calem MacDonald, and Jonni Shreve, and composer Andrew Gordon MacPherson about adapting Eisener’s V/H/S/2 short into a full-length alien invasion horror show.
