First up Buena Vista revealed that Stephen Spielberg’s Robopocalypse, penned by Drew Goddard, will now blast into theaters April 25, 2014, almost a year later than originally planned. Based on the novel of the same name by Daniel H. Wilson, the plot explores the fate of the human race following a robot uprising.
And finally, Fox announced today that a post-converted 3D version of Roland Emmerich’s 1996 summer epic Independence Day, which starred Will Smith, Bill Pullman and Jeff Goldblum, will open on July 3, 2013.
