FLESH OF THE VOID/DAUGHTER OF DISMAY Filmmaker Announces Next Film: THE HARROWING LIES OF GOD

Arthouse horror veteran James Quinn has built a reputation for producing boundary-pushing horror content that’s as hypnotic as it is unsettling. Just check out the trailer for Flesh of the Void if you don’t want to sleep for the next week! His latest, Daughter of Dismay, rocked the film festival circuit in 2019.

Quinn just revealed the first teaser poster for his next project, The Harrowing Lies of God, along with some titillating details:

Huge announcement:

A new feature is coming, and we have a first teaser poster. The film is titled The Harrowing Lies of God, an existentialist epic shot on 35mm film that will shock your senses while featuring some of the most bombastic imagery I’ve shot so far.

I can’t say more than that about it yet. We have some amazing people lined up to work on this, and I can’t wait to announce what the film is actually about, and what it connects to. What I can say is that visually, it will be in the epic vein of Daughter of Dismay, though it will be much darker than that, with a theme that will be sure to give you existential dread for days.

This poster is our very first teaser poster. There will be another announcement with details on the plot, concept and specifics of the film, along with a new, final first poster, illustrated by the amazing David Chance Fragale, who created the posters of Flesh of the VoidSulphur for Leviathan and more.

Can’t wait to share more about this. Keep your eyes out.
