One of the best parts about growing up was plopping my lazy ass down on a couch every Saturday for some Saturday Morning Cartoons. It was a ritual that brought me some classics like “Tales From the Cryptkeeper”, “The Pirates of Dark Water”, “Street Sharks”, and more.
While not a Saturday Morning Cartoon, something about Cybertronic Warrior’s new music video for “The Cybertronic Spree” reminds me of those days. It’s an homage and nod to shows like “Transformers”, “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers”, “Voltron”, etc… Unabashedly cheesy and steeped in 80’s confidence, the video features robot battles, spaceships, and sweet, sweet keyboard noodling.
