New Horror Series on Disney+ Is “one of the best shows of the year!”

Disney+ Horror series

The Goosebumps reboot has landed on Disney+ and Hulu and viewers already seem to be having a blast with the spooky reimagining. This incarnation of the property has opted for a season-long arc, rather than the episodic format of the original series. This time around, the show is targeting an older audience, considering the program sports a TV-14 rating.

Those pivots don’t seem to be a problem for viewers, however. In fact, one user jumped on social media to say, “The new Goosebumps show has NO business being as good as it is. Like I did not have the new Goosebumps remake to be one of my favorite shows of the year to be on my 2023 bingo card lol.”

Other fans of the new take on the R.L. Stine books have praised the characters and the storyline. Like always, there have been a few detractors but the overall response has been surprisingly positive. Moreover, the show drew in 4.2 million viewers within 3 days of the premiere. Not too shabby.

With that said, you don’t have to take my word for it. You can check the new show out on either Disney+ or Hulu for yourself and draw your own conclusions. The first five episodes dropped in bulk, with the balance rolling out weekly between October 20 and November 17.
