New Writer Tapped For The Conjuring 2

Some quick news has come in for the upcoming sequel to The Conjuring as The Wrap is reporting that Wrath of the Titans and Orphan scribe David Leslie Johnson has been hired to rewrite The Conjuring 2 for New Line and director James Wan.
Johnson will rewrite an earlier draft Wan penned with Chad and Carey Hayes, with revisions by Eric Heisserer.
Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga will return as paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren.
Look for The Conjuring 2 in theatres on June 10, 2016.
Much like the original film, the sequel will delve back into the case files of paranormal investigators the Warrens. No word yet on which of their many noted investigations will be showcased, but with Wan back in the driver’s seat, expect it to be scary as hell.
